Brian is an engineer, producer, songwriter, and artist, professionally known as, “Grant Phillips.” His musical journey began with the string bass at 8 years old; in high school he began singing and playing the guitar and piano. Brian studied chemical engineering at the University of Delaware, but he never lost his love of music, participating in various choir ensembles as his busy program permitted. Following graduation, he moved to Philadelphia to pursue his dreams in music. Since then, Brian completed an engineering and production program at Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings in 2019; he then interned with Jason Dunkerley at Drowning Fish Studio to learn more about the beautiful chaos that is live music recording.

 

Having been on both sides of the equation, Brian knows that your music is a special thing to you that must be treated with the utmost attention to detail and care and he will treat your music like it was his own.
